Relevanssi got a new version. We’re in 2.4.1 now. The 2.4 release fixed a bug that caused trouble when search terms were highlighted in posts. The highlighting logic wasn’t clever enough and could for example mess up pictures by adding highlighting tags inside image source URLs. This was fixed in 2.4, introducing a new bug that made all highlighted words lowercase. That was fixed in 2.4.1.
The 2.4 releases also fix the handling of soft hyphens, adjust handling of shortcoded content, and adds some useful links to the admin interface sidebar.
I also created a Facebook page for Relevanssi, where I will post updates when there’s something going on with the plugin. It’s also a clever attempt to gain publicity for the plugin, so please check out the page if you use Relevanssi and Facebook.
